About the Project
This project was a 15,000 square foot expansion of the Gainesville Regional Airport’s commercial passenger terminal. The expansion increased the seating capacity of the passenger terminal by 300 seats and added two new gates for airlines. In addition to the expansion, this project also encompassed renovations to facilities in the existing terminal and restrooms, new finishes, and upgraded security features throughout the airport. Scherer Construction also self-performed the site work and concrete associated with this project.
