About the Project
Scherer Construction was awarded the design-build project for Kraft Nissan. The overall plan was to remodel an abandoned 49,000 sf Winn Dixie store that offered adequate square footage and parking lot large enough to display the number of cars needed to support sales. The front façade of the existing building required major demolition to incorporate the signature Nissan feature entry elements and a 2,000 sf glass curtain wall addition. Ten months later the team celebrated at the grand opening ahead of schedule.
