Jim Crookston is the President of Scherer Construction of West Florida, LLC, located in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1984, he joined the company as a project manager and, while working closely with design staff, quickly developed a knack for attention to detail that has won him praise from both customers and subcontractors. Jim is a graduate of the Engineering Design program at Hoover Technical School in Canton, Ohio, and holds certification as a General Contractor and a Building Contractor. His work life is augmented by his participation at his church, being a father of six, and by his enjoyment as an avid, long distance cyclist.
